Approve View Report (9 records)The system charges every active tax in the ship to's tax region, set up on Tax Regions, on each order line whose product is Taxable. Each tax is rounded to the cent on its own.
An open order shows an estimate at today's rates. Tax is worked out again on what actually ships and is fixed at that point, and a backorder is taxed at the rates in force when it ships.
A ship to with no tax region, or with an inactive one, is not taxed.
- On User Fields, add a Numeric field to the product records (for example "Carbon Value") and enter each raw material's value on its User Fields tab.
- On User Fields, add a Calculated field to the formulation that uses SUM over the formulation's lines to total each line's carbon value.
- On Printed Documents, open your CofA and ask AI to add the new formulation field, since user fields are offered to their record's documents.
